Visit the WHYDAH Museum on Sundays in March (except the 31st) to meet the marine archaeologist and learn how the treasure from the Whydah is being excavated.
Check out the indoor Winter Farmer’s Market on Saturdays, 10 – Noon at the old firehouse 44 Main Street Orleans, Saturdays from early December through April, 10 a.m. to noon
The annual Hyannis Home & Garden Show is Saturday, March 23 from 9 am – 4:30. It is being held at the Hyannis Youth & Community Center this year and admission is FREE!
Take a drive down 6A and check out the Atlantic Spice Museum in North Truro at the junction of Route 6A and 6. Open everyday. Check the website for times.
Cape Cod Beer in Hyannis has some great beers if you are so inclined, and since it’s winter, you can walk into the Tree House Brewery in Sandwich without signing up ahead of time. They have cocktails too and delicious pizza.
Tour the John F. Kennedy Hyannis Museum and then have a bite to eat at one of the many restaurants on Main Street. Columbo’s is my fave.
Go see ALL member and local actress Linda Monchik in the comedy Ripcord at the Barnstable Comedy Club, March 7 -24.
Learn about the natural history of Cape Cod at the Museum of Natural History in Brewster. Always a good “take.”
Visit any of the Cape museums. The Cape Cod Museum of Art even has a winter series of music on Sundays this month from 3:30 – 4:30.
Put on your dancing shoes and head on over to Wellfleet Preservation Hall for the Outermost Contra Dance on March 15th at 7 p.m.
Check out the shops in Falmouth and stop for lunch at Liam Maguire’s or the Quarterdeck.
There is a lot more to do and see here on Cape Cod. I hope you find something to chase away the fog and let in some sunshine.
