Today is Primary Day, no matter the results, our work from now to November is clear. It will take strong leaders and a bold administration to counter the damage everyone plainly sees. Our work in this election will be key. See the information below about My Faith Votes for ways you can help right now.
We know what's going on in the world. Now it seems the rest of America is waking up. Our task is to speak with our friends and neighbors. Urge them to vote for the God-given rights that our Republican party embraces - Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness!

Jesus taught us to pray to God, our Father these words from our heart.
Father, thank You that we know where to find You, in heaven, and that You are holy. And we surrender to You, asking that Your kingdom, such as in heaven, would be done on earth in us and through us, instead of our earthly will. Thank You for your daily provision for us, and we ask for those without, that today You would provide for them. Please forgive us our sins, and we ask for the strength and love to forgive those who have harmed us. That we may be free and our hearts lightened that we may hold more of you. These days are dark, Lord…deliver us from evil, that no temptation would come our way.

Clare Lopez - March 18
National Security Briefing
Clare Lopez, former CIA agent and VP for Research & Analysis at the Center for Security Policy, will brief us in person.
For an in-depth national security briefing and candid analysis of threats to our nation, come and bring your friends. The program begins with registration at 5:00 pm, Q&A at 5:30 pm, and her speech from 6:00 to 7:00pm.
Ms. Lopez is a senior advisory board member and Director of U.S. Geostrategic Security Issues for Near East Center for Strategic Engagement. She is also a regular contributor to a range of media on China, Russia, Iran and the Middle East.

NCFRW works and prays for America
NCFRW is delighted to partner with My Faith Votes in 2024 and beyond. While our "Write Now" project begins in early summer, now is the time to learn more about this wonderful group founded by Dr. Ben Carson and Sealy Yates, and led by Gov. Mike Huckabee.
Laurel Brooks came to NCFRW's Winter Board meeting where she spoke beautifully about the mission of My Faith Votes - to engage the 25 million registered Christians who fail to vote in presidential elections.
The attachments explain the project more fully. Club presidents will receive more information from Margeaux Holland, our NCFRW Chaplain, as our "Write Now" project becomes operational.
A letter from Laurel Brooks is attached, as well as her PowerPoint, our NCFRW Vote Challenge and two QR Codes for cell phones.

NCFRW sends our deepest condolences to Helena, Michelle, Erica, Amy and the Vedeikis family on the death of Alfred Vedeikis, beloved husband, father and grandfather.
Born in Lithuania, Mr. Vedeikis was 8 years old when he immigrated to America and became a proud U.S. citizen at 16. Erica Vedeikis, NCFRW Foothills VP, credits her father's example of his love of America with her patriotism and dedication to NCFRW. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved and respected him.

Caring for America Scholarship | |

Deadline April 15, 2024
NCFRW established a scholarship for the dependent child of an NC service member, from any branch, wounded or killed while serving since September 11, 2001.
This merit-based scholarship assists eligible entering first-year students to pursue a degree or a vocational certification from an accredited North Carolina college, vocational or technical institution.

This is the year to update your club's Bylaws to bring them into compliance with both NCFRW and NFRW Bylaws. Club Bylaws are subordinate to both NCFRW's and NFRW's.
If yours is a newer club, you were probably chartered using the NFRW Club Bylaw Template. For older clubs, review the NFRW Club Bylaw Template for ways to streamline yours. Use Standing Rules where possible.

NFRW requested names of NCFRW veterans, and clubs submitted the names of 32 veterans in NCFRW who proudly served their country.
We love our military bases, veteran's homes, VA hospitals and nursing facilities where members volunteer and help active military, veterans and their families through NFRW's Armed Services program. See below for photos of our ladies in uniform. Guess who they are.
