Recent analysis of the Habitat Master Plan goals shows that seagrass beds, salt marshes, and freshwater wetlands are most in need of restoration efforts. Do you have a project idea to restore these habitats? We need your help! Submit your proposal for the Tampa Bay Environmental Restoration Fund and help us protect important habitats in Tampa Bay.

Approximately $700,000 is available to support projects that protect, restore, or enhance the natural resources of Tampa Bay and its contributing watershed. Projects must implement the Comprehensive Conservation and Management Plan for Tampa Bay. A 1:1 funding match is required.

Proposal instructions, application forms, and frequently asked questions are available online.

Proposals must be submitted electronically by 5:00 pm EDT, March 13, 2024.

Give-A-Day for the Bay: Moccasin Lake

We had a great Give-A-Day for the Bay event at Moccasin Lake Nature Park last month! Over 100 volunteers helped us plant 30 native species, remove about 34 lbs of trash, and pull a whopping 852 lbs of invasive Caesar weed, Brazilian pepper, and air potato! A huge thank you to everyone who came out to help make this event a success!
