Message from Chamber President

Welcome to the month of March and to the start of a new season. We can see glimpses of Spring in the air and are hopeful for a good season ahead. We look forward to a wonderful programming and the opportunity to engage with one another.

First and foremost, we want to thank Aladdin's for including the Chamber in the Dine to Donate program. Please see details below and enjoy delicious cuisine while supporting the Chamber.

Wednesday, March 5th - Dine to Donate at Aladdin's (Bagley Road)

Dine in or order carry out (no flyer or code needed) at the Middleburg Heights Aladdin's, 18334 Bagley Road, on Wednesday March 5th and 10% of sales from this location will support the Chamber of Commerce.

As a non-profit 501(c)6 as well as a foundation 501(c)3, the Chamber relies on chamber membership dues as well as various other fundraisers in order to host and support many events that in turn support the local community (scholarship fund). When you support the Chamber you support local!

Check out Aladdin's menu and treat a friend or two or yourself or your department/office team members and do it all for a great cause!

Chamber Lunch

This month we will turn our attention to the topic of Human Resources and Keeping Up with Legal and Compliance Issues.

We know that many businesses operate on a small scale and do not have an HR department, with that in mind you definitely do not want to miss this topic in order to remain aware and knowledgeable about HR matters.

Also as part of the March lunch, we are offering the opportunity to update your headshot photo.

In our January lunch meeting we were reminded of the importance of maintaining up to date photos for various profiles (i.e., LinkedIn) and we therefore want to offer this opportunity to you. Arrive early and take advantage of this opportunity to have your photo updated.

When you register, indicate "Lunch and Photo" and the photography price of $25 will be added to your registration.

Thursday, April 3rd Chamber Lunch

With so many updates and developments taking place in the City you do not want to miss the April Chamber lunch which will be held at Polaris Career Center.

It will feature Mayor Matthew J. Castelli sharing the "State of the City" and insights and updates on all that is taking place in Middleburg Heights.
