Partner Highlight: Center for Learning and Leadership


The Center for Learning and Leadership (CLL) is Oklahoma’s federally designated University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities (UCEDD). CLL is a member of the National Association of University Centers on Disabilities (AUCD) Network. CLL envisions all people with disabilities and their families as valued participants in community life. They promote positive outcomes for people with disabilities and their families through collaborative, interdisciplinary pre-service and continuing education, community services, research, and information dissemination. CLL has a wide variety of disability services-related videos and publications available in both English and Spanish.

Introducing Gale Hann


Gale Hann, MPH, CPH is a disability advocate and public health researcher. Gale is an alumnus of the Oklahoma Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and Related Disabilities (OKLEND) program and previously served as the data coordinator for OKLEND and CLL. Currently, Gale serves as the Emerging Leader Representative of the AUCD board. They are a co-creator of Autistic Teens Learning About Sexuality (ATLAS), a prototyped sexual health video game for autistic youth and young adults. Gale is featured in the upcoming documentary, Surviving the Spectrum, a film that explores the intersections of autism and suicidality. Gale joined the Zarrow Institute in August 2024 as a doctoral scholar in the Leaders for Transition Program.
