Member Spotlight!

For fun:

What emoji do you use the most?

  • 👍🏼👌🏻

Favorite music decade?

  • Hard question, but my current Amazon Playlist is 80s and 90s rock.

If you could play golf with anyone (real or fictional) who would it be?

  • Professional Golfer – Adam Scott

Favorite golf course?

  • One of my favorite golf courses I have played is Pacific Dunes @ Bandon Dunes in Oregon

Learn a bit about Michelle Smith!

What made you join LPGA Amateurs Fort Wayne?

  • I joined the first year the association was established, back when it was the EWGA.  I joined to meet, network, and enjoy social activities with other businesswomen who also liked to play golf. Unfortunately, due to my golf course job and coaching responsibilities, I stopped being a member for a few years. I am happy to be back!

What is the strangest thing you have ever seen on a golf course?

  • For those of us that have been in the golf business or around golf courses for many years, we have seen many strange things. One year when I was working at Cherry Hill, a small plane actually landed on the #10 fairway! Luckily no one was hurt but it took a while to get the plane off the course. Definitely a man-made hazard for a period of time!

Favorite league activity?

  • I do enjoy the Thursday night fun scrambles and being able to play golf with my Mom.
