Explore New AI Human Research Resources

Curious about using Artificial Intelligence in human subjects research? The University of Kentucky’s Office of Research Integrity (ORI) has a new webpage designed to help! It offers clear, practical guidance on AI protocol submissions, data privacy and security considerations, and informed consent requirements.

You’ll also find helpful AI Food and Drug Administration (FDA) FAQs, a plain‑language glossary of common AI risks, and a video series that offers researchers responsible-use strategies for mitigating risks in human research. Whether you’re new to AI or already using it in your research, the ORI AI/ML in Human Research webpage is a great place to start.
