Canadian Agricultural Safety Week is an annual campaign led by the Canadian Agricultural Safety Association from March 15-21, 2026, dedicated to promoting safety awareness and best practices across the agricultural sector.

On Canada’s Ag Day, February 10, 2026, a diverse group of experts and community members gathered for a critical discussion titled “Food, Fear, and Affordability” on the University of Saskatchewan campus.

Do you have a story to tell about where our food comes from? Farm & Food Care Saskatchewan is officially looking for producers, artisans, and innovators to join us as hosts for Saskatchewan Open Farm Days this August 8 & 9! 


This is your chance to showcase the heart of your operation to a curious and appreciative audience. Whether you’re a multi-generational grain farm, a boutique flower garden, or a local honey producer, we want to help you bridge the gap between the field and the fork. 


To make your hosting experience seamless, we provide: 


  • Event Hosting Support: Event insurance and a porta-potty stipend, as well as signage and help navigating event hosting permits. 


  • Marketing Tools: Professional marketing support and digital tools to get the word out. 


  • Training & Tools: Free training opportunities to ensure you and your team feel ready and confident. 


Host registration closes April 1. Join a province-wide showcase that celebrates the authentic stories of Saskatchewan agriculture.
