| | March arrives with restless winds and uncertain skies. Ground thaws beneath our feet and crocuses push through softened earth, while spring whispers promises through half-open windows. With each new day unfolding, we're reminded to welcome transformation, shed what no longer serves, and trust in nature's awakening. | | |
TEAM CHANGE PART 1 - We are sad to report that Morgan Liden is no longer with AFP. She had taken a leave of absence, due to a family emergency, near the end of February, with the intention of coming back on May 1st. Last week, she informed me she could not return. While her time with us was short, we appreciated all that she did. We wish her and her family all the best.
TEAM CHANGE PART 2 - If you stop into the office or call in, please say hello to Kim Banning. She is filling in for now to help us out.
NEW WEBSITE - Our new website launched at the end of February. Please look around and let us know what you think. You may have to hit your refresh button to see the updated version.
TAX INFORMATION - All tax information should be available on the Schwab Alliance website with your access credentials. Let us know if you need any assistance.

+ Teri's Treks
Some hints of Spring seem to be making their appearance and teasing us that warm weather is here – NOT! On one of those warmer days, I signed up to run my 25th Nationwide Children’s ½ Marathon run, which will take place on October 18th. I’m not a fast runner; it’s just about doing it and finishing for me. My oldest grandson has also caught the running bug and has been participating in his school’s running club. Maybe someday, he will run a ½ marathon with me. I was able to escape a recent snow by leaving Columbus to attend a small financial planning group meeting in TX. It was short, but a nice break from the cold. Last night I went to the Ohio Theatre to see the new musical, “The Outsiders”, and it was outstanding. Looking forward to warmer and longer daylight days ahead.

+ Nathan's Notes
Like everyone else, we have really enjoyed the moments of sun and warmth over the past few weeks. It always feels good to be able to open the windows to get fresh air in the house and see the grass (and weeds!) turn green outside. We’ve started making travel plans and registering for different camps for the summer. In the meantime, we’re looking forward to more warm days and sunshine so we can enjoy the outdoors.

+ Tracey's Time
It’s hard to believe we are already nearing the end of the first quarter of the new year. It’s always somewhat of a blur at the office, with a lot of year-end and new-year tasks to complete. The tasks require focus and I just keep working through. Last week I saw light at the end of the tunnel. On the homefront, it’s been quiet. Our son and daughter-in-law have been in Colorado constructing an energy efficient PANL home since January. One daughter was home for a visit while the other took a surprise trip to Boston and had an extended stay due to the epic blizzard. On the plus side, everyone is safe, healthy, and hoping for Spring’s arrival to bring warmer weather our way.
