Contra Costa County Court Survey

The Contra Costa County Superior Court is in the process of developing a strategic plan including a review of their mission, vision, and strategic priorities. To do so effectively, the Strategic Planning Committee requests input from current court users and jurors, and the public.


The survey is available until March 20, 2026.

Senior Legal Service's Elder Abuse Restraining Order Clinics

Contra Costa County Senior Legal Services offers a weekly legal clinic for Contra Costa County Residents age 60+ seeking support with elder abuse restraining orders.


This clinic is offered every Tuesday at the Contra Costa County Building on 1026 Escobar Street in Martinez (in conference room 238 next to the public law library)

Public Library Event: Tax Preparation & Veteran's Services

The Contra Costa Public Library is hosting the following events. Please see their website for more information, available at the links below.

AARP Tax Prep | March 13, 14, 16, 17, 20, 21, 24, 27, 28, 30, & 31 [Locations vary]


Description: "IRS-certified AARP Tax-Aide volunteers will provide free federal and state tax preparation for low to moderate income residents. This service is offered to people of all ages, with special attention to those aged 50 and older. You do not have to be an AARP member to receive assistance. One appointment per tax return can be scheduled, and married couples must come together." More information & registration here and by clicking on the dates above.

Veterans' In Person Services | March 16, 23, 31 [Brentwood]


Description: "Veterans Service Representatives (VSR's) are thoroughly trained and accredited by the United States Department of Veterans Affairs to represent you. Contra Costa County VSR's are not employees of the federal government, they are county employees ready to assist you with any Veterans claim. They will assist you in securing the maximum benefits. Your representative will work closely with service officers from a Veterans organization of your choice. Appointments are required." Community Partner Pop-Ups: Stand Together Contra Costa County

March 25 [Pittsburg]


Description: "Community Partner Pop-Ups are casual tabling events at the Pittsburg Library where local organizations stop by to share information, answer questions, and connect with the community in a relaxed, welcoming space. Stop by and connect with the Stand Together Contra Costa team! 


Stand Together Contra Costa offers free legal immigration consultations to community members who currently work, live, or study in the County of Contra Costa. What Stand Together Contra Costa specializes in is free legal representation in immigration proceedings, such as representation in seeking bail or release, and in deportation defense.
