MidAmerica St. Louis Airport has partnered with GoodMaps to offer a detailed indoor navigation tool accessible from a user’s phone, making it the only airport in Illinois with the feature. The app provides a map of the terminal interior and can be used by anyone who wants to preview the layout before arriving. It also offers turn-by-turn directions designed to support travelers of all abilities. Airport Director Darren James said the tool is intended to serve a broad range of travelers.

MidAmerica St. Louis Airport will again serve as the backdrop for the Illinois Law Enforcement Torch Run (LETR) Southern Plane Pull, a high‑energy fundraiser benefiting Special Olympics Illinois. Taking place next month at the airport’s AVMATS Hangar, the second annual event challenges teams of 10 to raise at least $500 for the opportunity to pull a GoJet Airlines aircraft 12 feet as fast as possible. The ultimate tug‑of‑war combines friendly competition, community spirit and support for athletes with intellectual disabilities — all for a great cause!
