Cleveland Auto Show

Lake Snakes Cobra Club members from Left to Right:

Bill Birk, Joe Marencik, John Ackermann,

Joe Tomaric, Pete Haburt

The members of the Lake Snakes Cobra Club did an outstanding job representing the Ohio Cobra Club at the 2026 Cleveland Auto Show, staffing the booth throughout the week and selling an impressive 764 tickets. Their time, energy, and enthusiasm helped make the event a great success.

Volunteers included (in no particular order):

Joe Marencik, Bill Birk, Phil & Pat Sprague, Dave Taylor, Tom Wood, Bob Bernat, Kurt Nelson, Jim Ables, Tom Decker, Ron Jackson, Steve & Sue Nemeth, and Todd Wagner.

A special thank you goes to Joe Tomaric and Pete Haburt, who helped set up and tear down the booth and worked numerous shifts throughout the show.

We would also like to extend a special thank you to John Ackermann for his coordination efforts in organizing volunteers and helping ensure everything ran smoothly throughout the event. Their dedication—and the support of all our volunteers—made this effort possible. We truly could not have done it without them!

Social Media Guidelines

Thank you to everyone who has taken the time and put in the effort to share posts on social media about the Ohio Cobra Club’s sweepstakes car. We truly appreciate the support and enthusiasm—it helps spread the word and supports a great cause.

As we continue promoting the car, we’re trying to keep the language consistent across all posts. Here are a few small but important wording guidelines to keep in mind:

- Please reference it as the Ohio Cobra Club sweepstakes car, rather than the London Cobra Show car. This is mainly a technicality since the Ohio Cobra Club is the 501(c)(3) organization, not the London Cobra Show.

- We are also trying to avoid using the word “Cobra” when possible. If you want to use "Cobra" in your post, please use "Cobra Replica".

- Please use “sweepstakes” instead of “raffle.”

- When referencing the charitable component, please say “all net proceeds benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation,” rather than “proceeds” or “all proceeds.”

Thank you again for helping promote the car and for keeping the language consistent!

Sweepstakes Poster

Check out the attached printable poster featuring the QR code for ticket sales for the 2026 sweepstakes car.

Print a few copies and help spread the word!

Consider posting them at places like your local gym, favorite restaurant, car garage, or auto parts store. You can even display one on your car’s windshield when attending shows and events to help drive interest and ticket sales!

Seeking Volunteers!

The London Cobra Show is just around the corner — only four months away! We’re beginning to organize our volunteer team and would love your help.

The London Cobra Show is one of the premier Cobra, Daytona Coupe, and Ford GT40 events in the country. Its continued success depends heavily on the dedication and enthusiasm of our volunteers.

From parking coordination, registration, sweepstakes ticket sales, charity ride drivers and area workers, and much more, volunteers help create the welcoming and well-organised experience that makes the show special year after year.

Whether you have volunteered before or are considering it for the first time, your feedback will help us improve the volunteer experience and ensure the ongoing success of the London Cobra Show.

Thank you for taking a few minutes to share your thoughts.
