Movie Matinee: Hamnet

March 19 at 1:00 PM

Our movie this month is Hamnet, based on the 2020 historical fiction work by Maggie O'Farrell.

The film stars Paul Mescal as a young, struggling William Shakespeare. The film focuses on the playwright's grief after losing his 11-year-old son, which serves as the emotional catalyst for writing Hamlet.

Rated PG-13. Run time 125 minutes. Registration is not required.
