Thank you for allowing Bruce Law Firm to support the Florida Bar’s Tax Section!
We are Ashley Bruce and Christopher Bruce (Florida Bar Board Certified in Marital & Family Law), and we are proud to support the Tax Section. We are Florida attorneys with offices in Boca Raton, Wellington, and West Palm Beach.
| | | | |
Our 13-attorney law firm limits our law practice to divorce and family law (divorce, asset division, support, child custody), and we are happy to help clients in any range of family law issues, including those who need to confront a difficult or intimidating person, have an important long-term support claim, have a business valuation or asset tracing issue, or have a serious issue involving children.
While we can represent clients in simple cases, our focus is in working with high-net-worth individuals, business owners looking for guidance on keeping their business, long-term complicated support claims, and other divorce-related high-stakes matters that are exceptionally challenging on multiple levels. We strive to take on these representations because we know our clients will have a dramatically improved and transformed-for-the-better life once their divorce is over.
We offer free books, videos, and articles at BrucePA.com, and a variety of answers to legal questions on YouTube. Call our office or visit us online to schedule a consultation to get answers to complicated divorce-related questions.

TAX PRO BONO OPPORTUNITIES
Florida's Low-Income Taxpayer Clinics (LITCs) assist low-income taxpayers with IRS controversies, including collections, liability disputes, and Tax Court petitions. Studies show that representation significantly increases positive outcomes for low-income taxpayers. If you are interested in representing a low-income taxpayer, please contact the LITC nearest you.
| | | Volunteers needed for the U.S. Tax Court Pro Bono Calendar Call Program. The program is designed to have local tax practitioners volunteer their time to pro se taxpayers during calendar call sessions without entering their names as the attorneys of record. If you are interested in participating in the Calendar Call Program, please contact a Tax Section member listed below. | | There are also opportunities to volunteer during "Settlement Days," held a few weeks prior to calendar call. During a "Settlement Day," pro bono practitioners work with a petitioner to try and resolve a case with representatives from the IRS Office of Appeals and IRS Chief Counsel. Neither opportunity requires you to file an appearance in Tax Court if you do not wish to represent the petitioner before the Court. | | You received this email because you are a member of the Tax Section of The Florida Bar or you have an affiliation with our section.
