Greetings and Namaste,
The advent anniversaries of two Krishna avatars highlight this month's calendar.
On Monday, March 2nd we'll celebrate the appearance of Lord Chaitanya, who assumed a golden color and descended to popularize the chanting of Hare Krishna, the easiest way to God realization in our Age of Quarrel.
On Sunday, March 22nd we'll celebrate the appearance of Lord Rama, who assumed a green color and descended to show ideal governance, as relevant today as it was in antiquity.
Please join us for these blissful festivals.
Yours in service,
Sandamini Devi

Tucson's Gem Show '26 Draws Big Crowd
Every winter Tucson's Gem & Mineral Show hosts jewelers and vendors from around the world, impacting the local economy, including Govinda's Buffet.
Besides serving the "gemmers," we go out to the vendors' tents to bring samosas and wraps to the hungry workers who cant leave their booths.
All in all the Gem Show is a lot of work and a lot of fun, and we look forward to it again next winter.

Salpointe Catholic High Visits Temple
On Tuesday, February 24th, as part of their World Religions course, juniors and seniors from Tucson's Salpointe Catholic High School visited our temple.
The visit is an annual event. They have a tour of the grounds, show them our altar, demonstrate our mantra meditation, and conduct a lively Q&A session.
At the end the students happily accept our prasadam cookies as we invite them to our Sunday feast, festivals, and Govinda's Buffet.

Giving in charity to Krishna purifies the heart because it helps us become detached from material things and cleanses the desire for frutiive results, purifying our accumulated wealth. Giving back to Krishna is like a deposit in one's spiritual bank account, and the dividends it pays are the purification of the heart. Put your money where your heart is!

Tithing is a a spiritual practice that invites us to consciously acknowledge where are blessings are coming from.
Behind every darshan, prasada feast, book distribution, harinam, festival and outreach program at the temple is a community of supporters who make it all happen.
Monthly donations - even small ones - give the temple the stability to expand and support our existing projects, making them accessible to all.
If ISKCON Tucson has enriched your life, inspired your practice, or offered you a place to grow spiritually, we invite you to personally support this mission.
