Voice Dialogue Facilitation Training: 16 CECs

What is Voice Dialogue?

The core of Voice Dialogue is the experience of meeting parts of ourselves in a structured format, and learn how they influence us in ways that help, and sometimes hurt. Voice Dialogue unlocks personal freedom as it helps us embrace all of ourselves, as well as the elements imposing themselves on a situation. This ultimately melts obstacles to vitality and a healthier way of being. You really can turn the problematic parts of yourself into life-long allies!

What is the primary focus of our Voice Dialogue Professional Facilitation Immersion Training?

Participants get hands-on training for working with clients and leave with tools they can bring into their practice immediately.

How is Voice Dialogue different from other parts work?

It's somatic! You move and embody the Inner Self you've chosen to work with. That Inner Self is invited to honestly dialogue from it's uninterrupted point of view. Part of this facilitation workshop nurtures your ability to embrace active listening and engage in the multi-dimensional richness of communication, which includes the sounds of silence. It's not the words that are spoken, it's identifying which Inner Self is saying the words -- and what their agenda and function is. Energetics is a key component of Voice Dialogue, which is a trauma-informed practice.

The W's:

WHAT?

This is a rare immersion opportunity to learn Voice Dialogue. Explore the world of Inner Selves and harvest their unique intelligences, and learn to navigate any competing agendas -- for work and life. Here's a few more of the multi-modal benefits of Voice Dialogue:

  • greater cognitive flexibility
  • increased level of creativity
  • freer physicality leading to better overall health
  • Plus, this is deep fun!

This immersion weekend includes

  • lecture
  • supervised facilitating (we jump right in!)
  • moving (even some dancing possibly)
  • perhaps some singin' and strummin' (not at all required!)
  • writing
  • drawing
  • body awareness techniques
  • unique solo and group exercises

These all reflect different ways to include our varying learning styles, preferences and accessing different parts of our brain (and inner selves)-- multi-modal style.

No experience necessary. All levels welcome. This trauma-informed modality is ideal for therapists, psychologists, counselors, coaches, body workers and healers of all kinds including those who work with clients involved in ketamine (and other psychedelic) treatment. Fostering a safe space is part of Voice Dialogue, so all parts can be nurtured including new selves that may have emerged out of fragmented memories, visions, or dreams. This helps integrate new perspectives into daily life which sustains healing, especially when therapeutic work has catalyzed insights and breakthroughs.

The 16 CEs can be earned by a variety of clinicians outlined below**. All participants with full attendance receive their valuable Certificate of Completion, which are often eligible for CECs for other professions including, but not limited to life coaches, fitness trainers and body workers. Check with your board of professions.

WHY?

Voice Dialogue is a transformative life-changing adventure that catalyzes integration. This tool also works brilliantly alongside other modalities to unearth and explore multiple aspects of a person. Voice Dialogue is designed to be flexible and can be applied in various contexts, including therapy, personal development, leadership coaching, and conflict resolution.

The Fundamentals of Voice Dialogue: The Psychology of Inner Selves 2 CEC Webinar

This 2-hour mandatory on-line course can be taken at your own pace and schedule anytime before the weekend immersion begins. It gives you the foundational principles which includes an overview of Voice Dialogue, developed by Bridgit's mentors, the Drs. Hal and Sidra Stone who originated Voice Dialogue in the 1970's. The pioneering contributions the Drs. Stone made to 'parts work' is instrumental to this effective approach now being considered mainstream. You will learn how Inner Selves naturally develop and bond (get attached) from infancy, and throughout the life span. Participants will identify their primary and disowned inner selves in an engaging exercise, Mapping Our Inner Selves and explore the emergence, role, function, priorities, 'rules for living', gifts, stings and discover how they operate in your life (and your clients' life) as all of the material is designed to be modified for your use with clients.

Saturday & Sunday: In Person:)!

Sound+Nature Retreat, 167 East Camp Road, Germantown, NY 12526

We meet. We connect. We jump into a live demonstration and learn the anatomy of a Voice Dialogue facilitation session. This is the 'How" of Voice Dialogue!

Participants are introduced to Energetics where you learn and apply multidimensional body language, including the skillful use of silence (a rare resource!) Most of our inner selves, and their memories, preferences and strategies live in our body, which Voice Dialogue uses as a unique gateway. This can also be used to explore physical symptoms and illness.

Participants will facilitate, and be facilitated. Unintended consequences may include enhanced mindfulness, compassion for self and other, optimism, curiosity, glimpses of serenity and more, through the expanded lens of our multi-faceted internal terrain. This process is an inner lifestyle shift!
