Announcements

WNC Baptist Fellowship in Need

A St. Mark's member recently made us aware of a significant HVAC repair need facing our friends at WNC Baptist Fellowship, and their leadership confirmed to us that they could use some help. Our church council has committed some funds toward the need, and if you'd like to help individually you can make a check to St. Mark's with "WNC Baptist" in the memo line.

Welcome Olena Derkach

Olena Derkach will be joining the St. Mark's staff as a Weekend Custodian. Olena will be shadowing Steve on 3/28, 3/30, and 4/6 before working on Saturdays by herself. We are excited to have Olena joining our team.

Post Holy Week Office Hours

The church office will be closed on Monday 4/1, Thursday 4/4, and Friday 4/5. Regular hours (8:30am-2:30pm) will be held on Tuesday and Wednesday. 4/2 and 4/3. If there is an emergency need please email Danielle at admin@stmarkslutheran.net and she will get in contact with the necessary party.

Lent Together

What's the deal with Heaven?

What's the deal with Hell?

This Lent, check out our new video series Ground Floor Faith, where we deal with some of the grounding questions of faith in the time that it takes to ride our elevator to the ground floor. These short videos will be posted every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday during Lent on our Facebook, Instagram, TikTok (new!) and YouTube accounts.

Lose the Loan Initiative Update

Let us know your intentions here!
Contribute to the Initiative online!

There is still time to commit! St. Mark's has an opportunity to be good stewards by paying off a building loan coming due this summer and redirecting $1,300 in monthly payments. To make it happen takes $46,000, and we've already received commitments for $41,000! Can you help us finish it off?
