Safe Storage Program Focus of AZ Gives Day

Mark your calendar!

Tuesday, April 4th is the annual Arizona Gives Day, a statewide day of giving. HSC uses this day to focus on a client program in need of funding. One of the most essential amenities on Campus is the Safe Storage program.

Individuals on Campus have the opportunity to use a storage bin that is secured behind locked gates and staffed by HSC's caring Supportive Services staff. These bins can be filled with the individual’s belongings and held for as long as they’d like, as long as the bin is being accessed regularly. This bin lightens the load, so that the individual has an easier time accessing vital resources around Campus and beyond.

These bins may store family heirlooms post-eviction. They may store a few days of clothing to cycle through or even a set of Sunday’s best. There could be valuable electronics that would otherwise be in danger of theft. Safe Storage gives everyone an opportunity to store whatever is most important to them.
