We are excited to be worshiping together in-person as well as continuing to have an online presence. We are live streaming our worship services on our YouTube page at 10:00 am. Previously recorded and streamed services can also be found here at any time.

March Mission Challenge

For the month of March, we will be collected NEW underwear for Harvest Home. They are completely out! We have a tree in the Gathering Area with sizes marked on underwear for you to take and bring back by the end of the month. There is a bin outside the main doors or you can leave donations on the table in the Gathering Area.

Office Help Needed

We are looking for some volunteers to help in the office the week of April 1-5, from approximately 9 am to noon. Very light office work, such as answering the phone and getting the mail. If you are able to help out, please contact Katie.

VBS 2024

This year we will have VBS July 8-12, 9:30 am to noon. This year's theme is "Hometown: Nazareth Where Jesus was a Kid." Please sign up below to help with the event (adults and youth who have completed 5th grade and older) and to register your kids for the event. Please contact Cyndi with any questions.

Java & Jesus—Sundays at 11 am

Using the scriptures from Sunday's worship service, we dive deeper into them and discuss applications to our Christian lives. No preparation is needed. So come meet fellow parishioners and take part in the discussion. We meet in Room 8 in the basement at 11 am after worship.

Wired Word—Sundays at 11 am

The Wired Word discusses big questions and scripture related to a current event each week while we fellowship with each other. No preparation needed, it is a new topic each week.

A little history, a little theology, a whole lot of life application! Every Tuesday morning except the last of each month.

A combination of book and Bible Study as guided by the participant’s interests. A time for prayer and fellowship, as well.

We gather the last Monday night of each month beginning in September from 7-8:30 PM at a rotation of houses. We wrestle with issues of life and faith. Bring your favorite beverage. Snacks provided (usually pizza!).

This will be a social golf group, providing an outlet to those interested no matter ability. We will meet the last Sunday of the month to learn and enjoy golf, and social time before or after events.

There will be no youth group this Sunday (3/24) or next (3/31). Youth are encouraged to attend with their families the Pancake breakfast in celebration of Palm Sunday this Sunday at 11am. 

Youth Annual Conference

Youth Annual Conference (YAC) is an event that is for youth put on by the East Ohio Conference to bring youth together from across the denomination to worship, learn and have fun together. There are worship experiences, time for mission opportunities and several workshops about spiritual growth, mental health, and using your voice in the Methodist Connection. This year YAC is going to be June 7th and 8th at Kalahari. Please let Jen know if your student is interested in attending or you are interested in chaperoning ASAP and confirmed participation is needed by April 14th so we can register for the event. 

Mission Trip

There is still time to sign up for the Youth Mission Trip June 23rd-28th to Shalom Farms in Richmond VA. Cost is $150, half of which is due April 14th. The Preschool will be on Spring Break from Friday, March 22^nd through Sunday, March 31^st. School will resume on Monday April 1^st.

Our Mission Project for March, along with the church congregation, will be collecting new underwear for Harvest Home in downtown Akron. The shelter is currently extremely low on underwear of all sizes for both boys and girls. Please visit the Underwear Tree in the Narthex and select a size you wish to purchase. THANK YOU
