March 24th Update from FSPA on COVID-19
Transcript:
"Good morning – here is the Tuesday, March 24 update on COVID-19 and how it is affecting the swimming pool and spa industry.
FSPA is continuing its ongoing communication with government offices to ensure that pools service is considered essential services. Miami-Dade and Broward Counties have issued Shelter in Place orders but both include swimming pool and spa maintenance, construction, and distribution as essential services which can continue to operate.
We are working with Alachua county to reinstate pool service as essential, and working proactively with Palm Beach, Orange, Duval, and Hillsborough Counties to ensure that swimming pool and spa industry is listed as essential.
Please continue communicate the importance of swimming pool and spa maintenance to your customers as well as local contacts you have in the department of health and county commissions.
During this time of increased use, maintaining healthy water and ensuring that children and adults are practicing good water safety is of the upmost concern.
Follow FSPA’s social media accounts and subscribe to our text updates for additional information."
