COVID-19 Board and Mgmt Statement
Quail Creek Country Club POA

Dear Quail Creek Residents,

We would like to express our continued appreciation for everyone’s understanding and patience as we work through a unique and uncertain time.

Your Board of Directors and management staff want to assure the community that we will be open, informative, and absolutely transparent about the Coronavirus as it pertains to our community. We know there are rumors. The most important information we can provide is that as of Friday evening, March 27, 2020, we are not aware of any confirmed cases of the virus here in Quail Creek. That does not mean the virus is not present in our community. We continue to encourage everyone to practice safety first by adhering to CDC guidelines, especially frequent hand washing and social distancing, and avoiding forming in groups of any size. It takes only one individual to pass the virus to family members or neighbors. When contacting others, maintain at least six feet of social distance, especially when you are out walking, biking, etc. We have seen numerous cases where this is not happening. We must take the guidelines about gathering in groups and social distancing seriously.

Some members of the Board have heard from a number of residents who are voluntarily quarantined, but none of these people have reported to us that they are exhibiting virus symptoms. They have stated that their actions are strictly precautionary. If we are notified by a community member that they have a confirmed case, we are prohibited by law from giving out any specific identifying information about the person(s) involved. However, if a case is confirmed in our community, we will inform you. We also continue to remind people, including our staff and all homeowners, to stay home if they are feeling sick. Should anyone come down with the virus, they should self-quarantine in their home and seek medical attention as needed.

As the management team and Board, we are following all recommended guidelines as set forth by the CDC and government officials as it relates to operations in Quail Creek, and in our own personal lives. Our staff is regularly sanitizing their work areas and those areas where residents have access. We ask that you all do the same.

Starting Monday, March 30, the Concierge Desk at the Madera Clubhouse and staff at the Administration Building will change to “appointments only.” Our commitment to you is unwavering while we continue to work under the recommendations of the CDC which involve social distancing. To schedule an appointment with one of our staff, please call the Concierge Desk at 520-393-5822 or email [email protected] .

For now, here are a few helpful tips:

Billing questions

Billing questions for your POA dues or member card charges can be resolved by contacting Susanna Ormand either by phone or email, 520-393-5835 or [email protected] . Please include your address so she can quickly access your account.

Gate cards/transponders

We understand that some of you may purchase new vehicles during this time. Until we reopen for business as usual, we ask you to use the guest entrance to gain access.

We appreciate the overwhelming response for Groceries-to-Go and The Grill-to-Go. These two services are proudly offered by the Association to help get us through this crisis. Our staff is honored and willing to serve you. They have received many positive comments and support from residents. Thank you for your continued support.

As changes happen day to day, we are amazed at the compassion, cooperation and resilience of our Quail Creek residents and the community we call home.

Take care,

David Jones and Board of Directors
