BROKERS HAVE UNTIL MARCH 31ST TO AVOID ANY POTENTIAL DUES ASSESSMENT FEE OF $690 FOR EACH UNPAID OR UNAFFILIATED LICENSEE.
If the DCP reflects that an unpaid licensee is being held under your license after March 31st, you will be responsible for their Dues Assessment of $690 (each). No exceptions.
You must follow the DCP Online Instructions if transferring or terminating your licensee. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO MAIL FORMS TO THE DCP.
To review a list of your agents with UNPAID 2022 Realtor Member Dues, log into the NHMR Member Portal. Next, click on Pay Agent Orders located directly under the office information.
It is extremely important to review the agents listed under your office. If you see someone who is no longer affiliated with your office, please be sure to provide the NHMR Delete Form and SmartMLS Member Delete Form by March 30th.

Statewide Property Tax Proposal
CT Realtors announced that State lawmakers are once again considering a proposal that would implement a statewide property tax.
Learn more about Senate Bill 21, which establishes a statewide tax of 2 mills on residential property with an assessed value greater than $1.2 million. CTR submitted testimony opposing the bill.

$500 Fine for Sharing E-Key Authorization Codes
Sharing of Authorization Codes is Prohibited!
We want to remind all Members that you should not be sharing your Supra Ekey authorization codes with anyone. Sharing of authorization codes seriously compromises the security of the electronic lockbox system. If an agent allows another agent to use a key that is registered to them, the registered agent is responsible for all actions with the use of the key.
Should a Member be found sharing an authorization code, they will receive a warning. After the first warning, if there is a second occurrence, the Member will be subjected to a $500 fine.

April 2 is Deadline to Apply for REALTOR® Emeritus
The REALTOR® Emeritus program is a special membership status honoring REALTORS® who have maintained their membership for 40 years or more. Payment of National Association dues is waived for the remainder of their membership, and they are exempt from Code of Ethics Training.
Members may qualify for Emeritus status if they 1) Have held membership in the National Association as a REALTOR®, REALTOR-ASSOCIATE®, or both, for a cumulative period of forty (40) years; AND 2) have completed at least one (1) year of service at the National level.
