Participants Needed for Business Survey


The College of Business at the University of Illinois Chicago (UIC) is partnered with the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce (CCC) to identify small businesses' issues, needs, and concerns to advise and guide City and State policymakers in creating a climate of success for small businesses.


By completing this brief ten-minute survey about your experiences operating your business you'll be enterted in a raffle for a pair of Southwest Airlines tickets. Additionally, all participants will receive a copy of the final report published by the CCC, which will include a summary of small business perceptions and experiences from across the Chicagoland area.

Hospitality Hires

April 16 at the Palmer House Hilton.


The Chicago Cook Workforce Partnership and Choose Chicago are hosting the 7th Annual Hospitality Hires, an on-the-spot hiring fair. Space is limited - registrations sell out each year - and the deadline is April 2nd, or until no spots remain, whichever comes first


Participating employers name their top 3 vacancies to fill, and the Hospitality Hires

team will identify, pre-screen, and schedule candidates to meet and interview with the business on the day of the fair. Employers are provided a table to engage job seekers with other hiring needs.
