Class Schedule Changes after Easter Break

We feel very confident that we are moving forward with achieving learning outcomes in all classes. We also realize that this is a unique environment and we are constantly reviewing what is working and what might need modification.

One change that we want to make when we get back from Easter Break is to create a schedule that will allow for a Flex/Connection day on Wednesday. The purpose for this day is to create the following:

  • Allow students time to connect with teachers

  • Allow students to connect with counselors

  • Allow students to connect with peers for club and council meetings, for peer tutoring, for social connections

  • Allow teachers to reach out to students

  • Allow teachers to meet with students for tutoring

  • Allow teachers to plan and assess

  • Allow students and teachers to have time off their screens

We feel that this will allow teachers and students some needed time to connect, work, and plan in an effective way that will enhance the online learning environment.

Class Schedule beginning April 20
Monday: 1/3/5/7
Tuesday: 2/4/6/0
Wednesday: Flex/Connection Day
Thursday: 1/3/5/7
Friday: 2/4/6/0

Please review the schedule PDF . As a reminder, you might also want to review the updated student guidelines .

75 student-leaders from clubs and ASB got together on Zoom

This week some of our student leaders brainstormed and planned out online student activities for the next few weeks (or longer).

They’ll use their social media pages and groups on Schoology, our online learning platform, to create ways for students to interact and have fun with each other while being apart.

It’s so tough not to be together on-campus. But we’re making the best of the situation and getting creative with our solutions! We can’t wait to roll out these ideas and show them off in the near future!
Join us for an engaging presentation and conversation with futurist and product designer, Jody Medich.
