Drought Management Plan Community Meeting
Adults and teens are invited to participate in this meeting to find out how Thornton will manage water resources and how you can help! The agenda includes a tabletop demo and short presentation. There will be a fun coloring activity for younger kids, light snacks and a drawing for a 'garden in a box'. RSVP at [email protected].

Landfill Day
The gate fee will be waived for Thornton residents to drop off non-hazardous debris. One covered load per household. Cars, pickups, and small single-axel trailers only. Proof of residency is required and limitations apply. Freon charged units (refrigerators, A/C units, and freezers) and electronics such as televisions and computer monitors will NOT be accepted and mattresses are subject to an additional fee.The next landfill day is September 21.
