Now more than every we are here to be your voice, represent your business, sustain your business and be apart of a robust plan for recovery.
As a Chamber, we are continuing to provide updates, resources and assistance where we can. We have received
GREAT
feedback from our business community in regard to our actions thus far, but we know there is so much more we can continue to do. We are working diligently with our state, regional and local leaders to bring our partners the most up to date information and assistance out there.
We are taking the call to action seriously and staff is working remotely, but we are readily available via email, phone and social media.
All in person meetings and events have been cancelled through the end of the month.
We will continue to reevaluate as we near the end of the month. Thankfully, we can continue to operate almost business as usual from our homes. Thank goodness for technology!

Lisa specializes in employment law and has been advising businesses of all sizes since this outbreak began about how to manage their legal obligations relative to employees. Issues she has encountered include but are not limited to;
compensating employees when they are not able to work (whether the employer has to compensate or not and if so how to calculate), responding to employee requests not to report to work based on their fear of exposure, and reporting to the GA DOL for employees whose hours are reduced or who are placed on temporary layoff, among others.
If there are businesses out there that have employment law questions, I am happy to help.
