March 30, 2020

Dear OLPH Community,
As you know, this morning the governor released the decision to close the public schools through the end of the school year.  The decision has been made that diocesan schools will also remain closed.
Although the doors remain shut, Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic School continues to educate through the various approaches to distance learning we have been providing.
As we move forward we know it is imperative that we examine our current practices and  instruction methods to ensure effectiveness.   Presently, most of our teachers have planned their lessons through April 9th and will continue to provide instruction as they have been.   We will be virtually meeting with teachers as we plan for the final month of school after Easter break when remote learning resumes on April 20th.

We understand that this is a difficult time for everyone.   We will work hard to ensure that quality instruction and learning take place.  We appreciate your support and understanding during this challenging time.

God Bless You!

Donna Lauro

Our school collections for Mary Hill Primary School totaled $3500.  Today we sent a check and we are hopeful that this money will provide necessary funds for food and supplies.   Please continue to include the students, families, and staff of Mary Hill in your prayers.
