Dear Friends in Christ,

With the scaffolding still up around the Big Church, I know many are wondering about the status of our capital repair projects. We’ve conducted extensive investigation and analysis work over the last several months, and we’ll soon have full, final reports. Designs are complete and materials are being fabricated for the roof structure, steeple, and bell tower. That work is scheduled to commence this summer. We’ve also found additional damage on the east and west sides of the building where the flat roofs meet the balustrades, and on both the east and west transepts. The full scope of work, final projected costs, and estimated date of completion for these additional projects are still pending. We appreciate your continued patience and understanding as we move forward with this important work, and we will continue to communicate as we learn more.

Faithfully yours,

Jody+
