The Friendly Sons and Daughters of Ireland and the City of Port St. Lucie announce there is still time for arts and crafts vendors to participate in the very popular St. Patrick's Day Festival and Parade. The fun will take place Friday, March 11 through Sunday, March 13 at the Port St. Lucie Civic Center.

Join Councilman Jack Kelly for coffee and news in a new location
The St. Lucie County Chamber of Commerce's "Coffee with the Mayor" will be held on Friday, March 11 from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. in a new location for the month of March: Tiffany Hall and Rehab Center, 1800 S.E. Hilmoor Drive in Port St. Lucie. Due to a prior commitment of Mayor JoAnn Faiella's, Councilman Jack Kelly will be the speaker at this event.

St. Patrick's Day Racquetball Tournament coming to Sandhill Crane Park
Sandhill Crane Park in Port St. Lucie will provide one more way to celebrate the luck of the Irish, at the city's outdoor St. Patrick's Day Racquetball Tournament, to be held Saturday, March 19 and Sunday, March 20 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Vendor booths expected to go fast for 2011 Hurricane Expo
Last year's Hurricane Preparedness Expo was filled to capacity with vendors. The time to register for this year is now, so you don't miss out on the opportunity to participate in the 2011 event on Saturday, June 4 at the Port St. Lucie Civic Center. Last year, vendors were exposed to more than 2,000 visitors who attended the Expo.

Orchid Treasures to bloom in PSL Community Center
The Port St. Lucie Orchid Society proudly announces its 2011 three-day showcase of blooms, entitled "Orchid Treasures" on Friday, March 11 through Sunday, March 13, beginning at 10 a.m. each day, at the Port St. Lucie Community Center, 2195 S.E. Airoso Blvd. Admission to the show is $4 per person.

Calling all artists to the PSL Botanical Gardens' "Spring Explosion"
The Friends of the Port St. Lucie Botanical Gardens are inviting all artists, in any media and form, to register now for the "Spring Explosion of the Arts" to be held Sunday, March 20; Sunday, April 17; and Sunday, May 22 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day. Entry fee is $10 per show or $25 for all three shows.
