CALLING ALL MEAT LOVERS
Do you love a good hamburger or steak?  Then this year's auction is the place to be!  There will be three separate 1/4 sides of beef available at the "Life is Good Here" auction.  Come prepared to bid and bring home the beef!
TRACK SEASON
5th-8th Grade Parents,

Coach Austin has offered to coach track this year, as well as act as Athletic Director for the season.  Please contact him directly at austinvanbelle@gmail.com  by Friday, March 8th , if your student is interested in participating.  He is currently working on a schedule so that information is not available yet.  The required forms for participation can be located on the website ( https://www.monroechristian.com/athletics/ ) or packets will be available at the office.  The cost for Track is $75.00.

DONUT DAY
This Wednesday, March 6th, is Donut Day.  Donuts will be available for $1 each.  Thank you to Caster Solutions for sponsoring this week's Donut Day!  If anyone knows of a business or family that would like to sponsor a Donut Day, the cost is $120.
SERVICE HOURS OPPORTUNITY
Would you love to greet students and their parents every morning?  We still need a roundabout greeter on Tuesdays - Thursdays starting this week.  Greet and assist students for 20 minutes (8:10 - 8:30) and log 30 minutes of service time.  If interested, please contact Laurie Fielder (laurie.fielder@monroechristian.org or 360-794-8200).

  • Andy and Ben Werkhoven and crew of fabulous parents for clearing our parking lot and sidewalks of snow! What a huge blessing - thank you for keeping us all safe!
  • Riley Anderson for making the best soup for our fellow Northwest CSI Administrators as they met at our school on Friday, February 22. It was delicious!
  • To all the parents who continue to assist with recess duties! The teachers deeply appreciate your faithfulness in serving as you promised. What a big commitment.
  • Ben Werkhoven and Ryan Ellis for addressing our roof repair following a windstorm.
  • Rachelle Cassano for helping the 3rd and 4th graders with their auction project. The succulent gardens are beautiful. Thank you to Freya and Jeremy Parker for helping with the Corn Hole game that you created with the 2nd graders as their auction project. It is super cute!  Thank you to Pablo Guerrero for helping the 1st graders with their auction project! It is going to be fabulous!

Don't forget to set your clocks ahead one hour this weekend for daylight savings!  Spring is on the way!

Catalogs were sent home last week for a TAPP Flower & Bulb Sale. Orders are due on Tuesday, March 12. Please see the catalog for additional details.  Extra catalogs are available in the office if needed.
