Two Angels Of Hope Containers En Route
An Angels Of Hope shipment was loaded on Wednesday, March 2 for our friends in Jamaica.

Sarah, Ramon and Brad ensured that all the various materials were included. The shipment included:

  • 360 Home Care Kits
  • 286 disinfectant wipes
  • 171 16.9 oz. antibacterial hand cleaner
  • 840 Personal Dignity Kits
  • 840 tubes of toothpaste

Value: $52,190.00

What a privilege to prayer over the shipments that leave Midwest Mission and know that what is received is going to help provide for those who need it most. We are grateful for Food For The Poor and our partnership with them, allowing us to touch lives and hearts in their times of crisis and with supplies that we may take for granted.

Thank you for your continued gifts and prayers to support our mission of serving others around the world and around the corner.

On Thursday, March 3, a second Angels Of Hope container was loaded for Jamaica.

The load was prayed over by staff and volunteers who were on campus. The shipment was filled with the following items:

  • 15 bikes
  • 25 walkers
  • 40 twin hospital bed mattresses
  • 12,800 trash bags
  • 2,933 lbs. of tools

Value: $30,925.00

Partnering with Food For The Poor on their Angels Of Hope Program is such a blessing.

Being able to help provide basic needs in a practical way is possible through your prayers, time and resources. Thank you!
Sewing Machines Donation
On Monday, Feb. 28, Nancy Rice (left) met with Pat and Sharon Baumer to pick up donations.

Nancy is a member of the Jamestown UMC, where she collected these sewing machines from her church members. They were serviced before we accepted them. At this time, we are only receiving electric machines that are recently serviced and fully ready to be disbursed. We are accepting treadle machines, even if repairs are needed.

We thank Nancy for being part of volunteer teams in the past and for collecting the donations.
