"Inspiring students to love God, their Catholic faith and learning"

Reminder: NO school on Friday, March 8th for Diocesan PD Day. Shorts allowed starting Monday, March 11th due to daylight savings.

Join us in making a profound impact on the lives of children in Uganda by supporting our initiative to build a school in this deserving community. Collaborating with local Catholic schools and the Diocesan development office, we are committed to providing access to quality education for these bright young minds. Your generous contribution will not only construct a school but will also pave the way for a brighter future, empowering children with the knowledge and opportunities they rightfully deserve. Together, let's create a place where dreams take root and flourish. Join our cause and be a part of this transformative journey towards education and empowerment in Uganda. Every donation brings us a step closer to making a lasting difference in the lives of these children. The goal to build this school is $25,000, and your support matters—let's build hope, one brick at a time. St Peter School's goal is around $5,000-$6,000.

Thank you for your help!

MARCH 7, 2024 at 7:00PM

The date of the winter concert for students in grades 2, 3 & 4 has been changed to Thurs., Mar. 7. With so many days off and shortened schedules,

it became apparent that we would not have enough time to adequately prepare the students and their special parts for the winter concert.

On March 15th, St. Peter School is spreading warmth and generosity by designating it as a free meal day for all students. On this special occasion, every student at St. Peter School is invited to savor a delicious FREE school lunch without any charge. The school aims to foster a sense of community and inclusivity by providing this complimentary meal, ensuring that every student has the opportunity to enjoy a nutritious lunch without the burden of cost. It is a thoughtful gesture that not only supports the students, but also reinforces the spirit of unity and care within the school community.

St. Peter School is delighted to announce a series of Parent Lunch Days, providing a wonderful opportunity for parents to share a meal with their children and experience the vibrant school atmosphere. On March 26th (A-E), April 16th (F-K), April 30th (L-R), and May 7th (S-Z), parents are invited to join their child/ren for lunch. A nominal Parent Lunch Charge of $3.00, payable in cash, applies to cover the cost of the meal. To ensure a smooth experience, parents are kindly requested not to bring fast food. Upon arrival, please check in at the office, where you will be directed to the cafeteria. To guarantee your spot and help with planning, we encourage parents to reserve their lunch by emailing [email protected]. St. Peter School looks forward to fostering strong connections between parents and the school community during these special Parent Lunch Days.

Meet Our Staff

Hello, my name is Carrie Dunn. This is my 24th year of teaching. I have taught Kindergarten,1st, and 2nd grades. I taught for Jefferson City Public Schools for many years before joining the wonderful staff here at St. Peter’s six years ago.  I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education from Missouri State University and a master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from William Woods University. My family and I are members of St. Peter parish. My husband and I have been married for twenty-one years and have two sons.
