Congratulations to all the winners of the Winton Arts Film Fest! We'll have more photos from the night on SmugMug next week!

A Message from the Principal of Student Life and Mission:

Dear Carondelet Community,

March is a vibrant and meaningful month in the life of Carondelet High School. From Junior Prom and Sisterhood Week to Winton Arts Film Fest, the Cultural Festival, Senior Ball, and our Lenten Project, the calendar is full of cherished traditions that celebrate the life of our community.

March is also the month in which we honor St. Joseph. The Sisters of St. Joseph, our founders, look to him as a model of quiet strength and faithful service, a life dedicated to uniting neighbor with neighbor and neighbor with God. The Catholic Church celebrates St. Joseph’s Day each year on March 19, and at Carondelet, we mark this feast with a schoolwide Mass. During this eucharistic celebration, we are blessed to welcome local CSJ Sisters and Associates, who renew their commitments and pray alongside our students and faculty.

This year, we will celebrate St. Joseph on Thursday, March 12. Holding our liturgy earlier allows our local Sisters to join us before traveling to Los Angeles to celebrate on March 19 with the larger CSJ Congregation. We are deeply grateful for the Sisters in the Bay Area who consistently share their presence and prayer with our school community.

We are especially honored that two of our staff members, Director of Campus Ministry Edie Payne and Campus Minister Rick Grand-Lejano, will make their first commitment as CSJ Associates this year. Associates are lay women and men who promise to live the CSJ charism in their daily lives, embodying a spirit of unifying love throughout their lives and communities.

March 12 will be a joyful and sacred celebration of our shared mission and the living charism that continues to shape Carondelet today.

Blessings,

Jennifer Reinwald
