The majority of public health and workplace safety measures have now been lifted, and key public health indicators continue to improve or remain stable.

With continued improvement in trends, Ontario will remove mandatory vaccination policies on March 14, with the mandatory masking requirement removed for most settings on March 21 (with the exception of select settings such as public transit, health care settings, long-term care homes and congregate care settings). All other regulatory requirements for businesses would also be removed on March 21, including passive screening and safety plans.

All remaining measures and masking requirements would be removed on April 27.

Individual organizations will continue to have authority to keep requirements in place.
