WHAT'S HAPPENING AT MONONA PUBLIC LIBRARY
Monona- you came on down for Loud in the Library!
We were thrilled to have our first live event since 2020 in the Library. Despite blizzardy conditions, more than 150 of you showed up, played games, danced to the fabulous tunes of Monona's own band, Slow Burn and celebrated one of the best things about Monona- The Library. A huge thank you goes out to the incredible team of 10 who plan and organize this event, the additional 20+ folks who stepped up to volunteer, our sponsors who come through year after year, the support and hard work of the Friends of the Monona Library, and the library staff who is always so supportive of this event.
We raised about $13,000 for the library, and have already put some of it to good use, supporting the remodel of the teen room led by a local Girl Scout Troop. And there are some other great things in the works for the money raised including a possible remodel of the study rooms and continued work on the lower level to try to make our entrance even more welcoming and warm.

Join us next year for Loud in the Library- Last Saturday in January every year!
We appreciate the community support!
