Students Participate in MD Science Olympiad
Recently, a team of 15 students from Poly participated in the Maryland Science Olympiad (MSO) Regional Competition at Mt. Hebron High School in Ellicott City. The students have been working on 23 events focusing on Life, Personal, & Social Science; Earth & Space Science; Physical Science & Chemistry; Technology & Engineering; Inquiry & Nature of Science.

Poly faculty Ms. Ghosh, Mr. Sanghvi and Ms. Matthews, with help from JHU mentors and a lot of enthusiasm, prepared the team for the 2018-19 Regional competition. The Engineers ranked in 17 out of the 23 events this year, garnered 1st place in the league, 16th overall among 63 High School teams from the region, and made it to the states! We all should be very proud of these 15 students, representing the various programs at Poly.
