Flightline Tours Take Off for 2026
March 18 @ 10:30 AM - 3:30 PM
Location: Martin State Airport | Hangar 5, 701 Wilson Point Road Suite 531, Middle River, MD
| |
While the Glenn L. Martin Maryland Aviation Museum's exhibits are in transition to its new home in the Maryland Aerospace Heritage Center, 2323 Eastern Blvd in Middle River and awaiting a grand opening, the Museum's flightline of aircraft is currently located at Martin State Airport. Guided tours of flightline airplanes and helicopters will be available beginning March 18, 2026 on Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays 10:30 am to 3:30pm and will begin at the Airport's Hangar 5, 701 Wilson Point Rd, Suite 531 Museum Welcome Center with a Martin history introduction by Tour Guides and admission payment.
As the Museum and its Gift Shop have been in moving mode, and exhibits previously seen in this Airport gallery have exited the hangar, the reduced rate for Flightline Tour tickets is $4 for all ages. Due to technology also being relocated to the new facility, tour admission is a cash only transaction. With the arrival of sunny spring weather, plan a visit and discover Maryland aviation history with this outdoor exhibit.

W. Robert Hair is Superintendent of the Maryland School for the Blind, where he has led the school through significant financial stabilization, strategic planning, and campus modernization. He focuses on advocacy, partnerships, and building a strong, mission-driven culture that ensures students who are blind or have low vision have the tools to succeed in school and in life.
