Honored during Women's History Month
On March 14th, Nadine was honored by the City of Newark Municipal Council President Mildred C. Crump with the Trailblazer Award at her "Celebration of Women" event at the Best Westin Robert Treat Hotel in Newark, NJ.


Nadine was amongst seven other phenenonmenal women who are making a difference in the lives of others in their communities.
On March 27th, Nadine was honored by the City of East Orange Mayor Ted R. Green, the East Orange Municipal Council and the Dept of Recreation & Cultural Affairs as a 2019 Hidden Figure Honoree at their Women's History Month event
"Storms Weathered".

Nadine was amongst four other amazing women in the City of East Orange making a difference in the lives of others in their community.
Special Needs Expo

Nassan's Place in conjunction with Mount Carmel Guild Academy hosted our annual "Special Needs Expo".

The day included over 18 resources sharing information about services they provide to families who have special need children and adults.

It was a great day of information, sharing and networking in one place.

Annual Autism Support Group Retreat

Nassan's Place in conjunction with Mount Carmel Guild Academy hosted our "Annual Autism Support Group Retreat".

The day included information, sharing and networking for the attendees along with a fun day of activities for the children complete with breakfast and lunch.

Thank you to our support staff and volunteers from Seton Hall University and Rally Cap for providing childcare.

Annual Comedy for a Cause with Talent & Friends, Honoring Tito's Handmade Vodka

Nassan's Place hosted our "6th Annual Comedy for a Cause with Talent & Friends" Honoring Tito's Handmade Vodka for their contuined support of Nassan's Place at the Galloping Hill Golf Club in Kenilworth, NJ

It was an amazing and inspirational evening of Autism Awareness, great food, music, surprises and comedy.

NBA Cares invites Nassan's Place for some Basketball & Shopping

Bounce out the Stigma Basketball Clinic

Nassan's Place children had a great day of basketball and fun at Stomp out the Stigma Basketball Clinic hosted by NBA Cares.

Our children had an unforgettable day of fun as they learned new techniques, met new friends and watched an amazing demonstration from Bounce Out the Stigma founder, Mighty Mike Simmell.
Former NBA player, Anthony Avent was also on hand to show the kids some of his techniques.

Nassan's Place would like to "Thank" NBA Cares and Bounce Out the Stigma Basketball Clinic for including our very special kids, the smiles on their faces said it all.
Nassan's Place goes to the NBA Store on World Autism Awareness Day

NBA Cares invited a few of Nassan's Place children to a day of shopping at the NBA Store in NY City.

The children were each given a giftcard to enjoy a day of shopping and they had a ball.

They also received a sensory friendly bag complete with earphones and other sensory friendly items courtesy of Kulture City to help make their shopping experience more comfortable.

The staff at the NBA Store staff were all very wonderful and have all received training of interacting with individuals affected by Autism.

"Thank You" to NBA Cares for their support and for including Nassan's Place in their activities as we kickoff the start of Autism Awareness Month.

Nassan's Place is excited to be the Autism Non Profit of the Night at the Barclays Center as we watch the Brooklyn Nets vs Miami Heat.

It will be an evening of Autism Awareness, basketball and fun for families affected by Autism complete with a sensory friendly area, surprises and giveaways.
