Zoning Ordinance Task Force Update
The Chamber has held our first stakeholder meeting with the zoning team from the City of Goleta. The group had productive discussions regarding some key pieces of the new ordinance including: oil and gas, parking and signs. Next up, the group will tackle residential second units and garage conversions.

The Chamber has gathered a group of professionals and hired a consultant to study the City of Goleta Draft Zoning Ordinance. It is the Chamber's goal to give feedback to the City regarding the draft.

"Projects like this are so important for the Chamber to work on as it affects all businesses," said Kristen Miller, President & CEO. "The City has encouraged our feedback and we plan to stay very involved with this important community issue."
