The Latest National CCAA News For You
|
|
We hope the ninth edition of the CCAA Counselor Corner (CCC) finds you healthy and well. The official start of spring is only a few days away and we're ready for the flowers to bloom and the sun to shine and bring warmer temperatures along with it.
With only about six weeks until the May 1 enrollment deadline, we know your days are busy. To help, we've filled this month's issue with resources and information to help you as you walk your senior students and their families through the final few weeks of their college search. Keep reading to find information about our upcoming April Virtual Counselor Town Hall, which will be full of helpful information and answers to your questions about the current state of Catholic college admissions, and for a link to the recording from our most recent February town hall. You'll also find details and a link to the 2022 National CCAA Scholarship application, which we hope you'll encourage all of your seniors to apply for.
We know that you're also meeting with juniors who are anxious to kick off their college searches, so we've also included some dates for you to share with them in hopes that they'll join us for some upcoming Spring 2022 Virtual College Fairs and Events designed to provide more information for students who are starting their college searches.
Whether you're counting down the days until spring break, summer vacation, or just the weekend, know that we're rooting for you. We hope you can find a few moments in your day to celebrate all that you and your students have accomplished this year!

The Feast of St. Joseph is Saturday, March 19. The patron saint of many, including workers, travelers, immigrants, families, and house sellers and buyers, St. Joseph is honored throughout the world with many traditions including wearing red, attending St. Joseph's Day parades, creating a St. Joseph's table, collecting food for the less fortunate, and eating zeppole. Learn more by reading 10 Facts about St. Joseph in Honor of his Feast Day from National CCAA member St. Joseph's University.
Many educational institutions have been founded in honor of St. Joseph and we would like to wish a blessed and happy Feast Day to our National CCAA member institutions that are associated with him:
