OHIO COVID-19 UPDATES
New Benchmark to Lift Ohio Health Orders
Governor DeWine announced at a special press conference on March 4, Ohio will remove all health orders once down to 50 cases per 100,000 people for two weeks. 

As of March 3, Ohio was at 179 new cases, down from 731 cases per 100,000 people over two weeks on December 3.
Updated Sports Order
  • The maximum number of spectators in any indoor sports venue shall be 25% of fixed, seated capacity. 

  • The maximum number of spectators permitted in any outdoor sports venue shall be 30% of fixed, seated capacity. 

  • The maximum number of patrons permitted in any indoor entertainment venue shall be 25% of fixed, seated capacity.

  • The maximum number of patrons gathered in any outdoor entertainment venue shall be 30% fixed, seated capacity. 
Updated Mass Gatherings Order
  • Events at banquet centers no longer have a 300-person limitation, so long as they comply with other health orders. 

  • Wedding receptions, funeral repasts, proms, and other events, whether or not food is served, at banquet facilities shall comply with previously signed health orders, including those regarding restaurants and facial coverings.

Ohio Humanities supports cultural programs that share the human story through documentation, interpretation, reflection, and representation. Humanities scholars, community history specialists, and cultural heritage professionals play a key role in Ohio Humanities-funded projects. Funded projects take many forms: documentaries, exhibitions, public talks, book festivals, and digital media.

Monthly Grants - Up to $2,000:
  • The first business day of each month and at least eight weeks before the start date of the funded activity.

Quarterly Grants - Up to $7,500:

  • March 26, 2021 —Drafts submitted by March 8, 2021 for projects beginning after May 17, 2021.
  • June 7, 2021 —Drafts submitted by May 10, 2021 for projects beginning after August 15, 2021.
  • September 1, 2021 —Drafts submitted by August 2, 2021 for projects beginning after November 1, 2021.

Major Grants - Up to $20,000:
  • July 15, 2021 — Draft submitted by June 15, 2021 for projects beginning after November 1, 2021.
