Scholarship Fundraising Season is in Full Swing at the Chamber!
Spring is here, and that means it’s scholarship fundraising season at the Oakdale Chamber! We’re excited to kick off our efforts with two incredible events that not only bring the community together but also help support local students in their educational pursuits.

Get Ready for Some Good-Natured Fun! First up, we have the always entertaining Arrest Round-Up.
This fun-filled event lets you "turn in" friends, coworkers, or community members for a lighthearted "arrest," all in the name of raising funds for the Oakdale Chamber General Scholarship Fund. Nominees will be picked up by our team, brought to H-Bar, and put on "trial." They’ll need to post bail (or have someone bail them out), all while enjoying the camaraderie of fellow arrestees and a complimentary drink on us! Nominations are now open and will be accepted until April 7th, so start thinking about who deserves to be “locked up” for a great cause!

Ag Scholarship Dinner – A True Celebration of Agriculture We’re also gearing up for our highly anticipated Ag Scholarship Dinner. This farm-to-table feast showcases the best of locally sourced ingredients, bringing together agriculture enthusiasts, local businesses, and community supporters for an unforgettable evening. The event helps fund our Ag Scholarships, supporting students pursuing careers in agriculture.
Tickets for this incredible evening are on sale now, so be sure to grab yours before they’re gone! Expect delicious food, great company, and exciting live and silent auctions, including unique agricultural experiences and must-have items for any ag enthusiast. Save the Date - Friday, May 2nd!!

Greger Sports Park Grand Opening - 3/3
We were thrilled to celebrate the official ribbon cutting for Greger Sports Park, a fantastic addition to our community! This new park offers top-tier athletic fields, open spaces, and recreational opportunities for athletes and families alike.
This marks Phase 1 of the project, with even more exciting developments to come in the future! We can't wait to see how this space continues to grow and serve Oakdale.

We celebrated the 5-year anniversary of Helius LLC, a local helicopter company working with PG&E to maintain powerlines. Alongside local dignitaries, our team got an exclusive aerial view of Oakdale—an unforgettable experience! Congratulations to Helius LLC on this milestone!

We stopped by The Shoppe on 3rd and met with owner Lisa Kjeldgaard, who shared her vision for this charming extension of the Morning Market. The shop serves as a hub for local vendors, offering a wide variety of handcrafted and specialty items from Oakdale artisans.

Brian Halloway from California Casino Nites gave us a behind-the-scenes look at his unique entertainment business. He shared fun stories from running casino tables at nonprofit fundraisers and corporate events. With all the excitement of casino games—without the risk of losing money—it’s a great way to support good causes while having a blast!

Chamber Building Maintenance Ribbon Cutting & Board Mixer
The Oakdale Chamber of Commerce marked an exciting milestone with the completion of our building maintenance project! Our staff and Board of Directors gathered to celebrate this turning point with a Ribbon Cutting & Board Mixer on Thursday, March 13th.
A special thank you to Crown Painting, The Design Studio, Dunn Edwards Paints, and Tom Schwartz of T.W. Schwartz Builder/Designer for their contributions in making this project a success!
We also want to extend our deepest gratitude to our community and supporters of the Golf Cart Fundraiser. Without your generosity, we wouldn’t have been able to give the building the love and care it deserves. Your support has helped ensure that the Chamber remains a welcoming and well-maintained space for businesses and community members alike.
This event was a wonderful opportunity to connect with community members, reflect on the Chamber’s growth, and look ahead to future initiatives. Thank you to everyone who joined us in celebrating this exciting new chapter!
