The Eureka Chamber Rhododendron Youth Ambassador Program held its 2020 Kick-off event on February 24th at the Sequoia Conference Center. Twenty-one area high school juniors and Chamber member business sponsors partnered up to build a link between business and education.
This program provides practical skills in job and career preparation, a clear understanding of what it takes to successfully run a business and scholarships to help with post high school education. Chamber business sponsors serve as mentors for the students who participate in a variety of activities and a public speaking competition.
