-MEMBER SPOTLIGHT-
Henson Building Material
In October 2012, Henson Building Materials proudly opened its doors in the former Tryon Lumber location located between Tryon, NC and Landrum, SC. The original Henson Building Materials store was established in 1938. Along with the Tryon/Landrum location there are stores in Forest City, Black Mountain, and Linville, NC that bear that Henson name. In 2007, Warner Robins Supply, led by Mark Bayer, acquired the Henson locations.
Throughout the years, all of our locations have developed into full service lumber yards. While we pride ourselves on customer service, we have worked hard to service contractors, remodelers, and of course the "do-it-yourselfers" that make up our communities. As do all of our locations, we specialize in plywood, treated lumber, non-treated lumber, moldings, hardware, and will now specialize in windows and doors. Through our in-house mill work specialist.
At the Tryon/Landrum location, our motto is "We are more than just a lumberyard!" Quality building materials and hardware are an important aspect of our business. At Henson Building Materials, or valued employees are here to serve each and everyone of our customers. Our staff has many years of experience in the building supply business and care deeply about the communities in which they live. The employees at the Tryon/Landrum location hail from Tryon, Fletcher, Rutherfordton, Green Creek, Landrum, and Inman. We welcome all customers, new and of course the valued existing ones to stop by and let us answer any questions you may have about our products and services.
