FINANCE DEPARTMENT UPDATES

New Master Fee Schedule

The City of Stanton has completed a thorough review of the costs associated with city services to ensure fair and transparent funding. As a result, the City Council adopted Resolution 2025-04, which updates the Master Fee Schedule. These updates will take effect on March 15, 2025.

  • New Fees Added: 50 new fees introduced for services previously provided at no charge, for example a 2.6% credit card convenience fee
  • Fee Adjustments: 236 fees increased to reflect actual service costs, while 65 fees decreased due to efficiency improvements
  • No Change: 28 fees remain the same

Sewer Rate Review Underway

To ensure Stanton’s sewer system remains reliable and well-maintained, the City is reviewing sewer rates and capacity charges. The last update was in 2021, and a new study is nearly complete. Join us on March 25 for a City Council meeting where a consultant will present findings on the necessary updates to sewer rates and charges.
