From the Shelf of the CEO
Steacy shares a few of her current favourite reads. Check them out and enrich your reading life (and perhaps the lives of others as well). This month, the books Steacy recommends are related to child mental health -- such an important topic!

Valued Partner Spotlight

We are so fortunate to have a strong connection with Pembina Pipeline Corporation, who have been valued partners for the past 5 years. Pembina sponsors Reading Rallies in schools, provides book donations and engages employees as volunteers in our Reading Revolution. What an outstanding community partner! We spoke with Pembina's Community Investment Advisor, Brett Clapperton about the importance of giving back. You can read our conversation by clicking the link below.

Willow Park Charity Golf Classic

The Willow Park Charity Golf Classic  began with a simple idea... a belief in the importance of giving back to the community, of supporting worthwhile causes on behalf of the Club and its members. Since 1988, through the generosity of Willow Park directors and members, and through the support of sponsors, players and volunteers, the Willow Park Charity Golf Classic has donated over $11.1 million to Calgary charities.  This year proceeds from July's Willow Park Golf Charity Classic will support Calgary Reads.

As the charity of choice, Calgary Reads is providing sponsorship opportunities and auction items. If you or your company would like to donate or be a sponsor, please message us: joan@calgaryreads.com
