The 64-acre farm, located in Bedminster Township. | |
The Heritage Conservancy team has recently completed the preservation of a 64-acre farm, located in Bedminster Township.
Heritage Conservancy will serve as co-holder of the agricultural easement with Bucks County, PA Department of Agriculture, and Bedminster Township. This property was ranked #1 on the Bucks County Agricultural Land Preservation Program’s 2021 application list, and we're absolutely thrilled to have safeguarded such an extensive and vital property.
The farm is adjacent to another farm preserved by the Bucks County Agricultural Land Preservation Program as well as within a mile of several other preserved properties in Bedminster Township.

Community Engagement Team Wraps up
Butler Bears Club Program
| |
Students enjoyed educational games and projects during
the final Butler Bears Club program.
| |
This month, Heritage Conservancy led our final Butler Bears Club program! The students had expressed that they loved learning about and seeing the preserved macroinvertebrates so much, that we decided to bring them the real thing. The students played a game of Macro Mayhem to learn more about aquatic macroinvertebrates and explored living macros that came from a creek near their school.
Students also got to see a variety of animal skulls to learn about wildlife in Pennsylvania. This was a fun and hands-on way to wrap up our Butler Bears Club!
