Downtown Burlington
Downtown Burlington was selected to receive FREE branding technical services. The selection was based upon the application submitted by Downtown Partners, Inc. to Main Street Iowa. This service, a value of $15,000 to the local community, brought Ben Muldrow of Arnett Muldrow & Associates to Downtown Burlington.
After a week-long of charrettes with local leaders and stakeholders, Ben delivered the new Downtown Destination Brand to Downtown Partners, Inc. The Downtown Branding Committee and Board of Directors are excited to unveil the new Downtown Destination Brand to the community! Watch the launch video here.
The Destination Brand will help create an identity around Burlington having so much to offer and being so unique. When fully implemented, the Downtown Burlington Brand will be featured
on banners throughout Downtown, in communications and in promoting Downtown for tourism.
Downtown businesses will have access to this brand for products and marketing. Classes will be held on how to use the brand for marketing and product purposes.
Thank you to the Capitol Performing Arts Center for hosting, the Annex Club for the wonderful refreshments, the motivating speeches from Suann Wells, Kathy & Brandon Bentz and K.C. Fleming, and to World Insurance for the amazing swag bags!

Watch Our Progress: Downtown Burlington Is Open for Business
After a year of anticipation, the Jefferson Street crossing tracks are now open! Businesses on the 800 Block of Jefferson Street were cut off from the rest of the district by the road closure. The impact on their businesses they have endured during the TIGER Streetscape project has caused many interruptions but the Downtown is open for business.
With all of the projects happening in the Downtown District, remember "We Are Open for Business." Come down and see the progress for yourself! Stroll, shop, eat, drink, and enjoy the Downtown!
Follow the most recent TIGER Project updates at:
A customized version of "Preparing for Construction Guide", outlining ideas and proposed implementation activities are being utilized in the Downtown District.
