March is Brain Injury Awareness Month
This month we're proud to recognize Barb for her hard work and commitment to success. Barb sustained a brain injury at age 15 as the result of a rare illness. Now 56, Barb attends Opportunity Partners' brain injury program in Minnetonka three days per week where she gains work and coping skills in a supportive environment. Barb said, "The staff are very loving people," adding that someday she hopes to acquire her dream job as an activities assistant in a nursing home. "I'm not going to give up," she said. "I might make some mistakes, but I'll keep going."

Partnering for success
NuAire in Plymouth, one of the world's leading providers of high quality laboratory products, turned to Opportunity Partners for ongoing support with intricate hand assembly such as applying adhesive to fixtures. Doing the work at OP saves NuAire space and time. "We had never done a project of this scale before with an outside resource. We were enthusiastic knowing what they do for the community, and they exceeded our expectations," said Jeff Bender, NuAire purchasing manager.
"We couldn't have asked for a better partner. Communication and follow-through were excellent, and the end result was a product that matched anything we would have done internally." Want to give OP's dedicated workforce a try?
