Parent-Child Home Program has fun creating art
|
|
In Parent-Child Home Program (PCHP), Early Literacy Specialists focus on process-driven art, where the process—learning to use the supplies—is the focus, not the product. In the end the child still creates a project, but the focus is on the process. PCHP staff show parents how they can use everyday items like paper plates to teach their child school-readiness skills such as cutting, gluing, and following multi-step instructions.

Promoting First Relationships (PFR) therapy services for their families!
This video demonstrates the negative impacts that toxic stress can have on a developing child, both before and after birth. Interventions like PFR seek to re-establish a nurturing relationship between caregivers and children to promote healthy development.
Encompass offers the Promoting First Relationships program both in client homes and in our mobile therapy van throughout the Snoqualmie Valley. Our therapists specialize in family enhancement using strategies that help parents build healthy, trusting relationships with their children.
